Description

We weren’t happy with how pricey the commercially available PowerPole connector panels were, so we designed our own. What started as a practical solution for ourselves proved to be something worth sharing, so here it is! The PowerPole Panel is a clean, easy to install 3d printed module which installs into the same 1 1/8" diameter hole that a regular 12V accessory plug (think cigarette lighter adapter) would. You could use these in a vehicle but we use them mostly on battery boxes.

Available in three configurations:

  • Single: One connector position for basic power distribution
  • Double: Two connector positions for organizing multiple power circuits
  • Stacked: Vertically-stacked connector positions that prevent standard Anderson connectors from being inserted, ideal for solar panel systems and other applications where you want to avoid accidental misconnections. Note that this configuration is not reversible like standard powerpole connections are!

You can find these elsewhere injection molded but will pay about twice as much—it’s totally up to you. This is something we can manage so we’re offering them =]

The housings and retaining pins are printed with high quality PETG and the lids were printed with flexible TPU. We currently only have the lids in one color, though we may expand or change that color in the future. (Okay, we admit it, this is just the color we had laying around)

If you have your own 3d printer and powerpole connectors you’re welcome to print it yourself! Find the model files here.
