NMO Lip Mount

This high quality lip mount with NMO mount comes with a thin diameter short section of coax to get through a small opening into your vehicle and then transitions to high quality LMR-200 with a BNC connector. The multi-axis mounting bracket allows for a high degree of flexibility to install on any vehicle with an appropriately sized lip. Ideal to connect to the BNC adapter on your handheld radio or use with a BNC-F to PL-259 adapter.

The lip mount NMO connector is engineered for seamless installation on vehicles with lip or edge mounting surfaces. The integrated NMO-to-BNC cable uses a hybrid design: premium LMR200 coaxial cable for the main run, then transitions to a much thinner wire near the mount connector. This design allows the cable to fit cleanly through tight lip and edge gaps while maintaining full signal integrity where it matters most.

This hybrid approach eliminates the need for external adapters and cable management, providing a professional appearance and secure connection. Simply connect your NMO antenna and route the cable through your mounting surface.

Technical Specifications:

  • Cable length and type: 0.5m (~19") of RG-316 + 4.5m (~14’ 9") LMR-200
    • RG-316 is a small diameter low loss coax suitable for short runs, which helps the coax fit through small gaps into your vehicle. Once there it changes to LMR-200 to reduce loss on the rest of the run.
