Another year has passed, and as always we’re grateful for the incredible support from the ham radio community. Before we dive into the sale details, here’s a quick look at what’s happened since last Black Friday.

Signal Strand™ System — One Year Later

Last year we launched the Signal Strand™ system, along with the new adapters designed to make it easier to add a counterpoise wire to nearly any handheld setup. You all responded enthusiastically — we sold quite a few of them across all variants.

The Strand adapters haven’t replaced our standard adapters — as expected — but they’ve become a strong complement to the lineup by adding a universal counterpoise option for handhelds. One common challenge we’ve seen has been that many customers don’t immediately realize these are BNC adapters (just with the addition of the Signal Strand™ attachment point), which leads to orders that don’t work together. We’re working on several website improvements to help with that and hope to have a new section of our site to show off soon!

One of our biggest milestones this year was the release of the Technician Class HamBook, a study resource designed to be clear, friendly, and accessible — something we’ve wanted to offer for a long time.

Inventory, Updates, and Manufacturing

We’ve continued refining our in-house manufacturing processes. Demand for the Signal Stick™, adapters, and accessories has kept growing, so we’ve made adjustments to ensure better stock stability and faster turnaround this year. David and Jessica have been working tirelessly and we’ve had far fewer backorders lately. Sadly, the OSJ remains the exception – we expect to have them back in stock in time for the sale, but only just barely.

As always, your purchases directly support the ongoing development of HamStudy, ExamTools, HamBook, and all of our other resources.
